Re: RHLKUSTOMS/FIREBIKES frame exchange
Ok, here we go my friends..
This is the RHL Mobzter built by Mr.Sam Mckay of Firebikes...
...4 speed 80 mm rear.. firebikes sprocket, metallic blue.. flat black forks wheels ect.. killer..
And this is the Firebikes Fluide called " Ol' Skool " built buy RHLKUSTOMS...
...shortened springer fork with frame matching front fork tubes and handle bars..narrow white wall tires(I wanted to capture the nostalgic feel of the old days...).... chopped and dropped modified leather springer seat.. old, worn out and weathered look paint to make it look like it's been sitting in an old barn for 30+years....
I hope you like both of these very different but cool bikes. I had a blast doing this Ol'Skool build and thank you Sam for building a bad to the bone Mobzter!
Enjoy!

Re: RHLKUSTOMS/FIREBIKES frame exchange
gosh! the mobzter is definetly what i like, the fluid is unique and a very straight buildup, too. how did you fit in the rear disc brake? you used that billet bracket by us choppers again (as seen on the mobzter preview pics) or is it individual for that frame?
merci for massaging my eyes that early in the morning! FAT

I like rob's build up more.
it's certainly different, which i appriciate. the paint job is creative and the little details - like the key chain ring to hold the brake cable - are really cool. The front end is awesome!
also I love to see a 26" bike after quite a while.
sam's mobster build looks kinda "up hill", needs to get the fork shortened IMO
the paint job is great though and I'd have to agree with Tomasz - nice clean look!
just my 2 ct
two great build ups!

Re: RHLKUSTOMS/FIREBIKES frame exchange
those 2 1/4" tires fit the frame so well because the chain stays are quite delicate.
good contrast to the fat diamond tubing of the rest of frame.
btw: I really like the li'l "hub caps" covering the hub flanges! great idea

Re: RHLKUSTOMS/FIREBIKES frame exchange
I think the firebike looks better than the other,
Re: RHLKUSTOMS/FIREBIKES frame exchange
I like both Bikes, because they are totally different, the Firebikes is totally OldSkool, the thin whitewalls fit perfectly to teh nice paintjob. The paintjob looks like it was hell to make it.
The RHL is totally different,no extreme paintjob, totally clean, new school style. The color is very nice and I especialy like the saddle and the sprocket But I think a 26" Quick Brick in the front would be coo, too.
But eough said, teh bikes are in different ways cool,
GREAT JOB
