Re: SPINAL TAP
A few details on the bike. I built the frame from scratch a few years ago, and all bends were done by packing the tube with sand and bending with heat from oxy-acetylene torch. The rims are 24 x 80mm, and the rear hub is a Sachs Duomatic. Tires are Maxxis 2.4 Holy Rollers. Bars and stems are cut up Wald cruiser bars mounted to the fork using MTB stems. Saddle is Brooks B68. The headlight is a vintage unit converted to LED, and the tailight is a shell from a vintage style microphone with an LED unit mounted inside.
I have been a lurker on this site for a long time, and have borrowed heavily (stolen) ideas I have seen on various bike on this site and other European sites.
Here is what it looked like when I first built it........I'm liking the current look better.

Nice ride...does it go up to eleven?
Did you tear down an actual SH55 for the taillight? Good idea. Never seen that before...

The mic was a cheap copy that I picked up in a pawn shop for $20.

Awesome Frame! Clean and smooth with a very nice flow. The rake is perfect.

Re: SPINAL TAP
VERY nice ride, I love the low straight line. And WOOOW, you ride a Brooks without springs! I've never seen this before, only with my bikes .
