Re: RHL 1952 GM shop truck project
Very Nice!! My best wishes with the Project!! You can build in an Air-Ride, so when your Dad is near you can keep it up and when he´s gone...drop it to the Ground!!!
I like those old Trucks, in Germany you don´t see these cars very often !! Let´s hope there is some Metal left after the sanding!!
Again all the best wishes!!! And keep us posted!!!

..and we can´t wait to see some pix, once you have started. Just change the chrome rims for some red ones with red metalflakes and it´s perfect. And perhaps a mild topchop...RHLKUSTOMS hat geschrieben:I can't wait to start working on it!

No, like Momo said...nothing started yet. But soon though!
For now, all I can do is start getting ready for the build up...so I will start ordering some of the parts that we will need to do the first stage of the restoration(frame suspension/brake parts, rubber cab mounts to locate the cab on the frame to pre fit all the fenders, hood, rear box bed etc)
As soon as the parts start arriving, I'll post pictures and the building fun will begin...

Re: RHL 1952 GM shop truck project
Just a couple pictures to show how far back our family has been invovled with these old trucks and how it relates to this project...this is a 1952 Chevy work truck that my grandfather had at his shop for his wooden door and window making business.
The pictures where taken in 1955 and this is the truck that my father learned how to drive in at around 12 yrs old...!
Check out the huge load of wood on the back
Here's to looking back... My father has more pictures of the family trucks that I'll scan and show you as I get them.
